    DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIREMENTS

    The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) at Georgetown University invites applications for a Research Assistant position. Applicants are expected to have a Master's degree in Computer Science and expertise in database design and management, and Java and Perl programming. The successful candidate will work in the LCCC core facilities providing microarray and proteomic services, and will be involved in i) microarray and proteomic data analysis; ii) implementation and management of microarray and proteomic databases and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and iii) development of web-based tools for microarray and proteomic data analysis.
