I am building a repository for courseware in Bioinformatics. The system is based on Moodle. The idea is to have a reference site where you may go hunting for course materials in the knowledge you are free to use them for your own courses or to build new tailored courses picking here and there to mix and match your own needs.

Hopefully, people using the material will contribute back their own modifications, additions, etc... under a Creative Commons, GNUFDL or similar license (clearly stated).

Ideally, one would like to have a common, shared training facility open all year round and assisted by professionals so users may undertake training whenever they need it. But that's still a bit far unless we can build a community of volunteers. Currently, unassisted guest access is the most I can provide (which may already be good enough for many).

Currently there is some material I'm adding proggressively from my own and other sources I find freely usable on the Net.

If you have or know of any material that may be freely used for training, please let me know and I'll try to add it. Similarly, if you want to help contributing or adding courses, let me know and I'll do my best.
