An important aspect of EMBER is the implementation of a database management system, allowing teachers to track their courses and to manage student results; it also allows independent use. To create their own course, accessible only to them and their students, teachers should enter via the login page (username add_course, password r3gist3r) and complete the registration form. This prompts for a password and course access code, and the system responds by providing further confidential details on how to manage the course. Independent users should follow the link to 'create an EMBER account' and select 'independent' from the menu of course options. For more information, see:
