    RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

    In this highly specialized opportunity, you will be responsible for assessing the institution's reporting needs, identifying potential data sources, and developing reports to satisfy internal clients. This includes defining and maintaining a reporting management strategy that is non-duplicative, secure and standards driven and that also anticipates the institution's needs. Working closely with IT and business staff, you will also develop/test defined reports and applications, and perform testing of all aspects of a data warehouse/mart environment.

    We require a BS (advanced degree in informatics and training highly preferred), experience working with healthcare data/applications, project management background and expertise with data analysis, as well as writing business requirements and functional specifications. Understanding of SQL and relational and multi-dimensional database structures/schemas, along with object-oriented design, information modeling, UML, and RDBMS a definite plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, metadata and communication skills are essential. We prefer 3-5 years in a healthcare setting (hospital, outpatient IT or healthcare vendor), experience integrating systems into a diverse enterprise environment, experience in statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, Stata), and good analytical assessment, project management and multi-tasking skills.
