RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will conduct bioinformatics research to support the biomarker and general bioinformatics research in understanding mechanism of action of our pipeline compounds at both late discovery and early clinical development stages, to help streamline the clinical studies by identifying markers for dose ranging, early efficacy, and patient stratification. In addition, the successful candidate will develop databases or prediction tools to facilitate antibody/peptide engineering and optimization. Qualified, highly-motivated individuals will have PhD degree in a life science or an equivalent with strong computer and statistics background. The successful candidate will conduct bioinformatics analyses on raw microarray data, genomic sequence data, SNP data, proteomics data, pathway data, genetic study data and contribute to the successful progression of product developments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified, highly-motivated individuals will have PhD degree in a life science or related field with strong computer and statistics background with a minimum of 0-2 years postdoc research experience in industry (preferable) or academia. Individual should be capable of in working in a team environment.
Must have bioinformatics research experience.
Programming knowledge and experience with any of the following: Perl, Java, R and C in Window/Unix platforms are required.
Experience of Window or Unix web programming and Oracle relation database is preferred.
Experiences of microarray analysis are required. Proteomics, pathway analysis and pharmacogenomics research are highly desired.
Experiences in pattern recognition analysis are preferable.
Experiences in biomarker and translational research are preferable.
