    BACKGROUND

    This role will require you to be flexible and to be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fun, fast-paced office environment. Your skills will be pushed to the full, but if you are up for the challenge this is an excellent opportunity to use your experience to really make a difference to the launch of one of our first commercial products, and play a key role in the development of our new company.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    You will own and deliver to across a broad range of genetic health and traits projects.

    REQUIREMENTS

    You will be using your programming skills to assist in the development of genetic research and its translation into products.
    You will help analyse complex scientific datasets, which will require top quality Excel skills.
    You will be able to build and analyse algorithms using statistical methods with an eye to detail.

    PREFERENCES

    The role will be varied, but primarily you will need to be able to code web-based applets and use your graphical skills to make complex information understandable.
    A knowledge of bayesian mathematics is desirable.

    from £28k, Post is for 11 months initally.
