The Seventh Annual BCATS symposium and Industry/Academic Mixer will be held on October 21, 2006 at Stanford University. All members of the community are invited to attend. Please register and forward this message widely.
BCATS: Biomedical Computation at Stanford Symposium (http://bcats.stanford.edu) is a one-day, student-run conference that provides an open, interdisciplinary forum for Stanford students and post-docs to share their latest work in computational biology and medicine with the biomedical community.
The BCATS agenda includes scientific talks and posters from over 60 Stanford students and postdocs. Keynote addresses are by:
- David Lipman, Director of the NCBI
- Andrew McCulloch, Chair, Department of Bioengineering, UCSD
- Cleve Moler, Founder and Chief Scientist, Mathworks, Inc.
