BACKGROUND

MS or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.

10+ years of industry experience, to include 5 years at a Director level with responsibility for building out and leading an R&D team, supervising and developing technical and laboratory staff, including bioinformatics software engineers, molecular biologists and microbiologists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Will be responsible for building out, leading and managing an R&D team in our market driven applications-based emerging growth environment, and spearheading the Company’s research, design and development initiatives. You will work closely with the CEO to guide research, technical and product strategies, and will provide internal expertise to the Company for all scientific and regulatory matters. You will also work closely with our Business Development team, and effectively build and manage internal and external relationships.
