    DESCRIPTION

    AREA Science Park (http://www.area.trieste.it/opencms/opencms/area/en/) and CBM (http://www.cbm.fvg.it/?lang=en_US) are launching a mobility initiative aimed at attracting international scientists to work with the biomedical research community of Trieste.

    The fellowships are funded by AREA Science Park and the CBM - Consortium for Molecular Biomedicine as part of an international mobility programme run by AREA Science Park and the CBM. The programme aims at attracting young scientists to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and adding them to the community of researchers operating in Trieste in the field of biomedicine.

    INSTITUTE INFO

    CBM and AREA Science Park are two research institutes recognized by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. Here there are laboratories integrating dry and wet lab research and developing a wide research program encompassing functional and comparative genomics, bioinformatics database, software development and algorithm development. The laboratories are already integrated in international collaborative projects tackling non-coding RNA genes, regulatory elements, and bioinformatics work flow management systems.
