BIOINFORMATICS RESEARCHER (COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY OF DISEASE PROCESSES).

    DESCRIPTION

The Bioinformatics group of CRS4 (Center for Advanced Studies, Research and Development in Sardinia) anticipates the availability of new research positions to work in the area of Computational Biology of Disease Processes. The focus of this group (http://www.bioinformatica.crs4.org/research/genomics-diseases/) is to carry out research leading to development of computational methods and pipelines that decipher functional elements (responsible for various molecular functional processes) on disease genes and that delineate associations with genetic/epigenetic variations. It is envisaged that this work leads to identifying novel RNA/protein targets.

    REQUIREMENTS

Applications are invited from those interested in the computational aspects of Genomics and Diseases. The suitable candidate ideally has a PhD and/or sufficient work experience in relevant areas. Appointments can be made at either junior or senior level, depending on previous experience and curriculum.
