DESCRIPTION

Asuragen formed from a key group of Ambion scientists and executives to focus efforts on cancer diagnostics. We provided the research community with access to innovative molecular profiling services and biostatisticians/bioinformaticians to advance biological research. Asurgen is growing its molecular biology capabilities to facilitate scientific discovery and drug development.

About the Bioinformatics Analytical Team
We are a full-service analytical consulting group that works with our clients from all stages of research, from planning to publication. Members of our analytical team come from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines—all having extensive training in statistics, mathematics, and research methodology. Our scientists have analyzed hundreds of studies and have been published in numerous refereed journals. Each member of the team is critical to our success and we are looking for a talented statistician to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or related field, with proven experience in experiment design, linear and non-linear models, time series analysis, categorical data analysis using parametric and non-paramedic techniques.

Familiar with ANOVA, GLM, Factor analysis, Logistic Regression, and multivariate techniques.

Statistical consulting experience

Experienced working with biological/medical related studies. Microarray analysis is a real plus.

Experienced writing statistical SOPs

Proven expertise R or S+.
