BACKGROUND

A post-doctoral position is available in the Evolutionary Genetics and Bioinformatics Laboratory headed by Dr. Mario A. Fares, Department of Genetics, Smurfit Institute of Genetics, University of Dublin, Trinity College, Ireland. This position is to work in a multi-disciplinary project with the title “Biomedical and Computational analysis of heat-shock proteins: optimization of protein’s function and putative drug targets�. The aim of the project is at understanding the role of heat-shock proteins in the activation of the immune response. This position is funded by Science Foundation Ireland under the program of the Presidents of Ireland Young Researcher Award to Dr. Mario A. Fares.

experience in dendritic cells and immunological techniques. Some computer skills will be highly considered as well.

COMPENSATION

The salary range is €35,000 - €40,000 per year
