We currently have an opening for a Java UI Developer in Seattle, WA. This position will be responsible for working under the direction of the Technical Lead to design new and modify existing components to fulfill additional product requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participating in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including design, coding, reviews, testing and documentation.
• Using design methodologies, object-oriented design and design patterns to enhance existing software.
• Providing ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of existing software.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' development of a commercial system using Java.
• Experience in client-server technologies and relational databases.
• Experience with Layout Managers, Graphical User Interface (GUI ) Design Patterns, and Threading Swing/Java.
• Object-oriented skills.
• Strong analytical skills required for platform development and implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Background in mathematics is a plus.
