BACKGROUND
A postdoctoral position in bioinformatics is available immediately to participate in an NSF-funded functional genomics project at the Biotechnology Research Center of Michigan Technological University. Primary job responsibilities include microarray and metabolite profiling database management and integration (http://www.aspenDB.mtu.edu), and assisting with experimental design, statistical analysis and interpretation of gene expression and metabolic profiling data.REQUIREMENTS
PhD in bioformatics, statistics or equivalent computational biology degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Unix/Linux, Java, Perl, Shell, MySQL, R, and PHP.LOCALE
