Our vision for DAKSH 2007 is to make it even bigger and better, where a confluence of divergent thoughts, ideas, talent, innovation will all come together under one roof. The following events are in the CHROMOXONE cluster:

EDIFICE: This event is all about the in silico modeling of protein and sequence analysis. The basic principle behind is that a new protein (template) is being modeled homologous to the known structure using bioinformatics tools. Candidates with basic knowledge of modeling tools will have plus point. It is mainly based on the sequence analysis and homology modeling. Using online as well as offline tools the given protein sequence will be modeled.

BIOHACKING: The basic principle behind this event is that you have to decipher the codes on the web page through hacking techniques and this code will lead you to the next page. Similarly you have to hack through other pages and acquire the hidden codes. This round succeeds over a puzzle and quiz round. An objective question round will help you qualify and go to the next round. Combined score of last two rounds will decide the winner.

JEEV SANRACHNA: This event is about designing and building a working model for any biological/chemical system or a process. Design and build a working model for any biological/chemical system or a process.
