    Contributions from the international scientific community related to bioinformatics and computational biology are welcome. Suggested topics are:
    • Structural and functional analysis of genomes
    • Structural biology and drug design
    • Gene expression and systems biology
    • Novel methodologies, database architecture, algorithms and ICT tools
    • Large scale analysis of experimental data
    • Molecular evolution and biodiversity
    • Biomedical informatics
    Abstract selection for oral and poster presentations: Abstract will be peer reviewed for originality, technical contents and relevance. Accepted contribution will be included in the collection of abstracts. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation.

    Contribution for BMC Bioinformatics Special Issue: Authors are invited to submit an extended version of the abstract for a special issue of BMC Bioinformatics.
