    The Indy Bioinformatics Conference is a regional conference aiming to bring together the community of researchers in computational biology and bioinformatics. Although the conference is regional, the conference is open to everyone from all locales. The 2007 conference will be held on May 31st - June 2nd at the IUPUI Conference Center, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Some of this years features include invited talks, keynote lectures, and selected talks from submitted abstracts. Building upon success of three previous meetings, INDY07 extends to a regional meeting where bioinformatics researchers from the Midwest region will discuss current research projects and collaboration opportunities. A subset of submitted abstracts will be selected for short talks, while all reviewed abstracts will be selected for posters.

    IMPORTANT DATES

    Early registration deadline: April 15th
    Abstract submission deadline: May 1st
    Notification of abstract status: May 15th
    91st Indianapolis 500: May 27th
    Indy Conference: May 31st . June 2nd
    Includes a reception May 31st, meals during the conference and a formal dinner
    the night of June 1st.
