Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Scientist

Bioinformatics position (#139):
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Build and maintain the bioinformatics software systems
• Responsible for genomic data and the underlying genomic databases required for marketing, manufacturing, and R&D
• Development and maintenance web accessible bioinformatics tools related to the study of nucleic acids
• Consult with biologist regarding bioinformatics research needs
Position area requirements, qualifications, and experiences:
• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or computer science with a minimum of 3 years of bioinformatics experience
• Experience in database programming (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Advanced relational data modeling and implementation experience
• Experience integrating data workflows to support data analysis, mining, and data sharing
Biostatistics position (#983):
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Provide statistical expertise in experimental design and analysis for internal and external clients
Position area requirements, qualifications, and experiences:
• Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics, with proven experience in experiment design, linear and non-linear models, time series analysis, categorical data analysis, and multivariate data analysis using both parametric and non-paramedic techniques or M.S. with 4-5 years of industry experience.
• Familiar with ANOVA, GLM, factor analysis, logistic regression, and multivariate methods
• Statistical consulting experience
• Experienced working with biological or medical related studies
• Experienced writing statistical SOPs
• Proven expertise R or S+.
