    We require a Group Leader in Disease Modelling and Simulation. You will be expected to lead a team creating and applying disease state models which integrate diverse data types across preclinical and clinical research, and to interact with experimental biologists, PK/PD scientists, clinicians, statisticians and other researchers. You must have a strong grasp of biology and excellent technical skills in applying computational methods to the life science area.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • PhD or equivalent in quantitative discipline e.g. mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, or computer science
    • 4+ years demonstrated success in working in the life sciences, preferably in an industry research setting
    • Familiarity with application of statistical and dynamical modelling to pharmaceutical or life science research.
    • Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype ideas using tools such as Matlab and R.
    • Ability to handle complex projects in rapidly changing environment
    • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
    • Management and leadership experience (line management, project leadership, and alliance management

    PREFERENCES

    • Direct experience in population PK/PD modelling
    • Drug discovery experience
    • Knowledge of cancer biology
