BACKGROUND

Several post doc and a programmer/bioinformatician positions are open in the field of computational biochemistry/structural biology/proteomics. The successful postdoc candidates will develop new methods and algorithms for (1) protein structure prediction, structure based function annotation (2) protein and drug design (3) analyzing structure-function evolution, protein classifications. All researchers are expected to work in close collaboration with experimentalists on
structural genomics, proteomics topics.

The scientific programmer will focus on developing bioinformatics tools, relational databases, web interfaces for large scale structural biology, proteomics collaborations and perform data mining.

REQUIREMENTS

Familiarity with computational
techniques in linux environment is essential. Background in interdisciplinary sciences with a general focus on protein structure research.
