I've just created a "biology in Python" mailing list as a common discussion forum for people who use Python for biology research, including (but not limited to!) biological sequence analysis, parsing, protein structure, visualization, and biological database development. I hope that this list can serve as a tool-neutral forum to discuss approaches, software, and perhaps even collaborations.
