    BACKGROUND

    The Lowy Cancer Research Centre (LCRC) is a new enterprise on the University of New South Wales campus in Sydney that integrates basic and clinical research into childhood and adult cancer. With a staff of about 300 it is the largest dedicated cancer research facility in Australia. LCRC researchers are investigating the molecular mechanisms of cancer at both the DNA and protein level.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are seeking an early- to mid-career bioinformatician to lead the bioinformatics research at the Centre.

    COMPENSATION

    The position provides for salary, re-location costs and start-up funds.
