    BioPipe beta contest (Web version, http://www.biopipe.net) by Korean Bioinformation Center (KOBIC, http://www.kobic.re.kr) was open in Aug 15th 2007. This is an online contest. In this contest, each participant will design Web-resources for a biological subject or project of his/her choice. All contest activities (registration, submission, and award notification) take place on the internet. A presentation about the BioPipe contest will be given during the 6th International Conference on Bioinformatics (INCOB 2007) at Hong Kong on August 31.

    IMPORTANT DATES

    • Registration: 2007/08/15 - 2007/09/20
    • Final Result Due: 2007/09/20
    • Award Notification: After 2007/09/28
    AWARDS:
    The following three prizes will be awarded:
    • 1st place (1): $500 USD
    • 2nd place (1 ): $300 USD
    • 3rd place (3 ): $200 USD per person or team
    Prizes will be paid through wire transfer.

    This contest is organized by Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion (KADO), and Korean Bioinformation Center(KOBIC) Also It is sponsored by Korea Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).
