BACKGROUND

Ph.D.student position (of 4 years duration) is available at CIC Biogune to join the group of Dr. Rune Matthiesen in the Bioinformatics unit. The Bioinformatics unit works with artificial intelligence, statistics and databases to improve automated interpretation of biological data produced at CIC Biogune.
The working language of CIC Biogune is English; its many scientific units employ young people from all over the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working towards Ph.D. thesis: Mass Spectrometry data analysis

REQUIREMENTS

The position is open to graduates in science to enter a research career in bioinformatics and it is to start at the earliest possible date.
Candidates should be fluent in English and have experience in bioinformatics and programming.

PREFERENCES

Background in machine learning would be an advantage.

TERMS

4 year grant.

COMPENSATION

The(gross)salary is 14302 euros a year
