JOB SUMMARY:
Financed by the Portuguese government initiative for research jobs, Ciencia 2007, the Center for Neurosciences and Cell Biology (CNC) wishes to appoint 2 research scientists at the Auxiliary Investigator level. The salary will be in the range of €3040/month X 14months/year. Appointments are held for 5 years, submitted to yearly renewals.

The Structural and Computational Biology unit at CNC has two vacancies for PhD researchers in the area of Computational Biology with particular focus on:
1. “Rational Drug Design�
2. “Mixed Quantum Mechanics / Molecular Mechanics (QM/MM)�
3. “Protein Structure and Folding�
4. “Protein Interaction Networks�

Outstanding candidates working in other topics in Computational Biology may also be considered.
