BACKGROUND

A postdoctoral research associate position in bioinformatics and computational biology is available immediately at the Bioinformatics Research Center, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop computational methodology for protein structure prediction and protein-DNA docking. Projects in studying evolution of regulatory networks are also available.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Working experience with computational structural biology will be a plus. Strong ability in programming is required.
