Submitted by Alberto Riva; posted on Tuesday, October 02, 2007

    BACKGROUND

A post-doctoral position is available at the University of Florida, Gainesville, for research on bioinformatics and computational biology. Work in our group is aimed at the development of innovative software applications for data and knowledge management in genomics and computational biology, with a focus on high-throughput biology (e.g. whole-genome studies, microarray data analysis, etc). We use advanced programming tools to develop complex, efficient, and highly visible resources for the bioinformatics community.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join in existing research projects or to develop new research lines, in a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment that promotes interactions and collaborations.

    REQUIREMENTS
