BBSRC supports five fellowship schemes which enable scientists to devote their time to independent research and scholarship. Up to 4 fellowships are available to support early-career researchers wishing to be based at the Institute for Animal Health (IAH) or Roslin, including the Neuropathegenesis Unit, (Roslin – NPU) in an area of animal biology relevant to BBSRC’s key priorities. Integrative biology and/or systems approaches are particularly encouraged. Fellowships are available for scientists who at 1 October 2007 will have a minimum of 2 years and no more than 6 years of active postdoctoral research experience. Awards are for a period of 5 years and carry a personal salary and a significant research support grant to support the costs of the research that is to be undertaken
