    BACKGROUND

    Nodality Inc. is a privately held emerging biotechnology company that is developing technology for various medical applications related to the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of oncology and autoimmune related disease processes. Our expertise in multiparametric single
    cell-based measurements will enable us to advance our technology in all aspects of drug
    development including discovery research, clinical trial cohort identification, biomarker analysis, and pharmacodynamic monitoring.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Apply computational methods to multi-parametric flow cytometry data
    • Analyze and interpret data to enable go-forward decisions
    • Explore and develop novel approaches to flow cytometry data analysis in order to reveal new and valuable insights into the experimental data
    • Identify, implement, and validate appropriate computational biology methods and infrastructure, and collaborate with IT and informatics groups
    • Work closely with scientists from experimental design through data analysis and presentation
    • Work exclusively in multi-disciplinary teams

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A PhD and a strong background in computational biology, and/or biostatistics
    • Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
    • Experience with popular statistical packages such as R, S-Plus
    • Hands-on programming experience with a strong preference for programming languages such as Python, C#, C++
    • Experience with agile programming approaches
    • Demonstrated ability to apply computational methods to biologically relevant problems in collaboration with experimentalists
    • An understanding of biology and drug discovery principles, especially as related to cancer
    • Knowledge of multicolor flow cytometry a definite plus
    • At least 2 years post-doctoral experience in an industrial setting
    • Capable of leading projects from inception, through the entire experimentation process to the delivery of results in a timely fashion through effective interactions across company disciplines
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills


    PREFERENCES:
    Prior biotechnology company experience. Prefer local candidates.

    TERMS:
    Regular, full-time position available immediately
