REQUIREMENTS
In-depth understanding analysis and processing of data from various post-genomic technologies and their application towards clinical development of drugs (classification, clustering, machine learning)
Expertise in methods and technologies utilized for integrative analysis of biosciences and clinical data, such as (ontologies, semantic web technologies, data exchange standards)
Expertise in heterogeneous data-mining /visualization methods and predictive modeling /simulation techniques relevant to biomarker platforms utilized development of tailored therapeutics (molecular profiling, genetic/epigenetic technologies)
Wide understanding of commercially available bioinformatics/clinical genomics tools and databases.
Proficiency in one or more mainstream programming languages (C, C++, C#/.NET, Java, Perl, etc.) is required.
Understanding of relational database design. Knowledge of SQL and DBMS systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle).
Demonstrated learning agility. Excellent communication and collaborative skills and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to be flexible in working hours (to coordinate with different time-zones) and willingness to travel are a requirement.REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D or MS. in computational sciences, biology or chemistry is required.
In this position you will devise and implement new strategies, computational methods and tools to deliver on the goals of ICS. As an Informatics Scientist in ICS, you will work closely with Informatics and Software Engineering peers in LSCDD, as well as the Discovery and Development Informatics organization in Europe and Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. This position requires the ability to communicate across domains with Lilly biologists and chemists in Drug Discovery Research at Singapore as well as with discovery and medical research scientists at Lilly headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.RESPONSIBILITIES
