BACKGROUND

SAIC-Frederick, Inc., the operations and technical support contractor for the NCI-Frederick, has an exciting opportunity for a Programmer Analyst III.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Will provide programming and algorithm development support for scientists at the National Cancer Institute. Will support programming and applications development on Linux/Unix platforms in C/C++, Java, and Matlab/Octave for biomedical imaging analysis and visualization. Installation and maintenance of open source packages such as Slicer, ImageJ, ITK/VTK, and other software.

REQUIREMENTS

Possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, physics, biophysics or related field or four (4) years related experience in lieu of degree. In addition to education requirements, a minimum of four (4) years related experience. The applicant must be proficient in C/C++ and either Matlab/Octave, IDL, or Java.
