BACKGROUND

Headway LifeSciences is currently seeking a Genomics Application Specialist to working for the worldwide leader in desktop visual data analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will provide technical expertise to clients utilizing their extensive knowledge of industry and industry statistical processes. Specific duties include assisting Sales Account Manager with developing strategic sales objectives, preparing customized presentations based on opportunity analysis, providing timely follow up and communications to prospects and Account Manager, deployment planning implementation in conjunction with Account Manager, providing support at vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree (advanced degree preferred) in Bioinformatics, Biological Science or related quantitative degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in technical pre-sales, marketing, technical support or biostatistical research.
Knowledge of applied statistics related to microarray-based genetic and expression analyses.

Ability to travel 50% of the time.
