    Ariadne (http://www.ariadnegenomics.com) develops innovative software products for life sciences research (pathway analysis and scientific text-mining) for academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.


    We are seeking a molecular biologist/computational scientist for the position of Application Specialist in Europe.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful candidate will provide training and professional services to the users of pathway analysis and biological information extraction/indexing software including:
    • answering support phone calls and e-mails
    • providing support to the business development and sales team
    • doing both online and on-site software demonstrations
    • providing training and data analysis services to current customers and prospects
    • developing and supporting technical documentation
    • providing feedback to R&D team on product functionality/usability
    The position requires occasional travel to scientific conferences/tradeshows and client sites. A perfect English and another European language is required.

    REQUIREMENTS

    We are looking for the individuals who like intellectual challenge and have excellent communication skills to interact with our customers and find the right solutions for their diverse needs. Applicant must have degree in the life science or computational biology. Teaching experience is highly desirable. Previous experience in using Bioinformatics software is a plus.
