DESCRIPTION

The internship in the New Technology Group will be primarily responsible for analysis of microarray and other 'Omics' data. This internship is located at Buena Park, CA

REQUIREMENTS

Masters level or PhD level students in biological sciences, computational biology, bioinformatics or computer science students with a strong background in, or knowledge of, biological (specifically microarray) databases. Familiarity with Linux and Windows (preferably) operating systems and basic programming skills (PERL). For the right candidate this internship can be extended to six months. For a six month position, experience in disease biology, mechanisms of action, signalling pathways, etc are required.

ELIGIBILITY

US Citizens/Permanent residents only.

Out of state students will be given transportation expenses.

COMPENSATION

Salary will be given on an hourly basis and is very competitive.
