BACKGROUND

The Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ) is a joint interdisciplinary
research and training center of the ETH Zurich (ETH) and the University of
Zurich (UZH). For the expansion of our services to ultra-high throughput sequencing we seek an additional bionformatician that strengthens our bioinformatics team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Management and analysis of ultra-high throughput sequencing data. Implementation of custom analyses and algorithms. Interact and collaborate with local life science research groups.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate has a degree in biological, computational, or technical
sciences and has already experience in the management and analysis of
high-throughput sequencing data. Programming knowledge is required, preferably in R, perl and/or java.
