BACKGROUND

Agilent's bio-analytical measurement business provides solutions that include instruments, software, consumables and services that enable customers to identify, quantify and analyze the physical and biological properties of substances and products in markets as life sciences, including the pharmaceutical analysis, gene expression and proteomics markets, and chemical analysis, including the petrochemical, environmental, homeland security and forensics and bioagriculture and food safety markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working within the Life Science Informatics sales team, this role will be responsible for the sales of Agilent's bioinformatics solutions. The territory of responsibility will span multiple countries in Southern and Central Europe
This requires the development and successful implemention of sales plans for the complete range of Bioinformstics solutions in Agilent's portfolio. Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree or equivalent in bioinformatics, biology or biochemistry

Relevant experience and proven track record of sales success within the bioinformatics business

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and well organised

Fluent in English.

PREFERENCES

French,
Italian or Spanish are an asset.
