    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Agilent is establishing a new life science centre in Bangalore, India and is looking for talented engineers to join the center and shape its future. As a member of the Life Science Center you will support the Scientists in generation of novel applications and solutions on Agilent’s platforms like microarrays, microfluidics and LCMSMS.

    You will have to carry out installations Agilent Instrumentation LCMSMS platforms. You will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenanceand validation of these instrument platforms.

    You will be part of a global team that will work closely with other Agilent R&D engineers in Santa Clara, USA and Waldbronn, Germany.

    REQUIREMENTS

    This position calls for a minimum Graduate in Engineering having complete involvement of 4 – 5 years in Installation, Trouble shooting and maintenance of the Mass Spectrometry instruments

    Essential Skills :

    • Installation and maintenance of single Quadrupole instruments with ESI & APCI Ionization sources, Quadrupole analyzer & detector.

    • Installation includes the mass setup, resolution, sensitivity & calibration of the Instrument.

    • Preventive maintenance including the source cleaning, trouble shooting & Training on the instrument & software as well as operations

    • Similarl expertise in other mass spectrometry instruments will be an added value

    • Should possess adequate information on validation of all the LC instruments.

    • Should be able to conduct training on LCMS instruments
    • Mix of scientific expertise, customer focus and communications skills.

    Travel = 25% of the time.
