    Computational Genomics lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral fellow working on cancer-related projects.

    BACKGROUND

    Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a world-renowned research and educational institution with programs in cancer, neuroscience, plant biology, genomics and bioinformatics. The Laboratory is recognized internationally for its excellence in research and educational activities. Candidates will have opportunities to interact with and participate in advanced research in molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, and computational biology, and will have access to robust information technology resources as well as a high-performance computing cluster.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful candidate will be involved in genetic or epigenetic signature/pattern discovery in cancer or drug-treatment case/control studies, such as CNVs/SNPs, DNA methylations, etc..

    REQUIREMENTS

    Required qualifications include an Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a relevant field and being familiar with PERL,C/C++, R in Linux environment. Basic training in microarray data analysis is also required.
