We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our outstanding Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with the ability to work comfortably on both individual- and team-oriented projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, specify, develop, and test new software products that control high-tech robotic automation
- Provide internal and external customer software support when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
The following skills are required for this position:
- BS Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ yrs Software development in a Windows environment
- 4+ yrs C++ development
- Quick, effective, and creative development skills.
- Interest in programming for robotics and automation
- Ability to provide clear and concise communication of product concepts and engineering requirements
- Ability to adhere to a quality control system that requires documentation
- Ability to follow both written and verbal direction, and to ask questions when needed
- Willingness to exercise considerable independent judgment
- A desire to see projects through to completion
- Experience on a product development team
- System integration knowledge
- Experience with Javascript
- Previous experience with STL
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with MFC
- COM or ActiveX programming experience.
