    Events: CfP: Machine Learning in Systems Biology 2008

    DATES: September 13-14, 2008

    The aim of this workshop is to contribute to the cross-fertilization between the research in machine learning methods and their applications to complex biological and medical questions by bringing together method developers and experimentalists. We encourage submissions bringing forward methods for discovering complex structures (e.g. interaction networks, molecule structures) and methods supporting genome-wide data analysis.

    SUBMISSIONS

    We invite to submit either an extended abstract of maximum 8 pages for oral presentation or a 1 page abstract for poster presentation. Papers should be submitted online via the Easychair submission system at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mlsb08. The deadline for submissions is June 15 for extended abstracts and August 20 for poster presentations.

    Notification of acceptance: July 15
    Camera-ready papers (extended abstracts): August 25
    Deadline for submissions of poster presentations: August 20
