DESCRIPTION

A postdoctoral research fellow position in computational biology is available in Dr. Yan Cui's lab at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis, Tennessee, USA). Our research interests include predictive modeling of genetic networks, phenotypic effect of genetic variations, functional elements in non-coding DNA sequences and evolutionary theory (http://compbio.utmem.edu). The successful candidate will participate an exciting project to map brain development in time and space.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree, research experiences in computational biology/bioinformatics, and computer programming skills. Experiences in time series microarray data analysis and/or gene network modeling are preferred.
