The University of Manchester, UK, has funding from the BBSRC (http://www.bbsrc.ac.uk) to run three online courses in Mathematical Modelling for Systems Biology. The courses are:
    • Bioinformatics for Systems Biology
    • Mathematics for metabolic modelling
    • Computational simulation and analysis of biochemical networks
The first of these courses, Bioinformatics for Systems Biology, will begin again on 6 October 2008. It provides an introduction to the data and modelling methods for systems biology. The final section introduces dynamic models, preparing participants for the our advanced course in 'Computational simulation and analysis of biochemical networks'.

The course outline for 'Bioinformatics for Systems Biology' is available here: http://octette.cs.man.ac.uk/bioinformatics/modules/index.html
