BACKGROUND

A post-doctoral position is available at the Platform of Genome Analysis of the Functional Genomics Unit of CIC bioGUNE. The research lines in the laboratory involve the set up and development of tools for “Next-generation sequencing data analysis (mRNA, microRNAs, gDNA resequencing and gDNA de novo sequencing)”.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

The applicant should have a PhD degree in one of the following areas: bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, biotechnology, or biology. Knowledge of programming and genomics is required; experience in web application development, relational databases, and large scale biological data management would be an advantage. Working knowledge of English is essential.

TERMS

The position is for three years and provides a salary of 27,326 € per year.
