    RESPONSIBILITIES

    A position is available for a motivated and creative individual interested in interdisciplinary research and working with multiple laboratories and mentors.

    The focus of the project is to develop simultaneous measures of structure, function, and evolution from primary amino acid sequences, and apply these measures to a host of problems including but not limited to viral protein structure/function, ion-channel structure/function, pharmacophore development, and the deep evolutionary histories of ancient proteins.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. and experience/publications in the field of computational biology. In addition, candidates that also have experience and publications in the fields of cell biology, biochemistry, and/or molecular biology is preferred.
