    RESPONSIBILITIES

A pioneer in gene sequencing needs a technical writer with experience in bioinformatics to help develop a proposal for a major government agency. Specifically, they need a technical writer to interview the bioinformatic engineers and communicate what they do in lay terms condensed into a resume-like format. These resume-like documents will make up significant percentage of the proposal (easily 200+ pages), so they want a writer with previous bioinformatics experience who can hit the ground running.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience documenting gene sequencing / bioinformatics technology (Required)
    • Previous experience writing government proposals a plus
    • A degree in genetics or microbiology a major plus
    NOTES:
    • Work can be done from a home office after interviewing SMEs on-site
    • On-site interviews will be done in offices in Fairfax, VA and Bethesda, MD.
    • This is an immediate need
    • US citizens or green card holders only (sorry, the client cannot sponsor H1 visas).
    • Local candidates only (unless you are willing to pick up your own travel costs)
    • No third-party agencies please.
