Bioinfo 2009 is a popular event, designed to convey bioinformatics and its applications to the public. The event's aims is to present bioinformatics, through introductory talks and posters, passing through its origin, the issues it deals with and its role in society. During the day experts and companies operating in the area of this science, especially from Siena (consistently with the availability provided by Novartis, Biotech, etc.), will give many different talks on various aspects and applications of bioinformatics.
