RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate is expected to carry out genomics and proteomics studies (in silico & wet lab) on terrestrial plants & marine organisms independently and to participate in ongoing institutional research programmes.

REQUIREMENTS

Ist Class M.Sc. (Bioinformatics/Biotechnology) with 03 years of experience or M.Tech. (Bioinformatics/Biotechnology) or equivalent qualifications with 02years experience Or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology with 01 year experience.

PREFERENCES

Experience in computational biology/chemistry, molecular modeling, sequence alignment techniques, homology modeling of functional enzymes, DNA isolation, purification & structural studies with working knowledge of design & development of databases (Oracle, etc) including programming (NET, ASP etc.) environments would be an advantage as evidenced by publications in good journals.
