    The International EMBnet-RIBio Conference 2009, jointly organized by the European Molecular Biology network (EMBnet) and the Red Iberoamericana de Bioinformatica (RIBio), will be the first time the EMBnet's Annual General Meeting will take place outside of Europe, bringing together bioinformaticians from all over the world, together with the Iberoamerican Annual General Meeting, and representatives of other major Bioinformatics societies in the World. We are also planning the foundation of the Iberoamerican Bioinformatics Society.
