BACKGROUND
We invite applications for the Carol Grotnes Belk Distinguished Professorship in the Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics. This research department, housed in the newly dedicated, $35M Bioinformatics Building, has a collaborative and interdisciplinary research focus targeting areas within structural biology, molecular biophysics, plant genomics, metagenomics, and human health.REQUIREMENTS
- The department seeks candidates who have established outstanding research programs directed toward critical issues in 21st century biology using computational techniques, alone or in combination with experimental approaches.
- The successful candidate should have a demonstrated interest in fostering collaboration, and a commitment to teaching and mentorship.
