RESPONSIBILITIES
The Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research is looking for a Data Manager in its Biomarker Development department in Basel (Switzerland) or Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA). You will work in the Biomarker Analysis and Informatics unit and will:

Support gene expression data analysis by managing genomic and clinical datasets

Prepare data files for use by analysts

Identify, resolve and document data errors

Maintaining a repository of reconciled data

Generate summary tables for scientific reports

You will work closely with internal and external laboratories, clinical teams, gene expression analysts and statisticians to support gene expression analysis, quality data management and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree and 4 years+ experience OR Master's degree and 2 years+ experience

SAS scripting experience

Statistical analysis experience

Knowledge of gene expression profiling

Detail-oriented

Strong quantitative skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong multitasking skills

Strong communication and collaborative skills
PREFERENCES

Experience in data management and analysis support for pharmacogenomics or pharmacogenetics studies a plus.
